ADOPTION PROCESS
So you're ready to adopt. Now what?

Here is what to do next :
Step 1
Step 2
Introduce Yourself
Fill out the New Buyer Form and tell us which kitten you like. Please copy and paste the following text and fill it in, then text (preferred) or email to us.
Choose and Meet your Kitten
We offer several options for helping you choose a kitten. We can send you photos and videos of available kittens. We offer FaceTime or Zoom video sessions to meet your kitten or we can meet in person at your preference. If you live in Washington State (Seattle and nearby areas), we can meet on nuetral territory to show you the kittens in person. If you live outside of Washington, we can arrange on online meeting via FaceTime or Zoom. Each meeting lasts 15-30 minutes to avoid overstressing the kittens. Additional questions can be discussd by phone or email. Once you choose a kitten, we confirm availability and finalize the price, purchase terms, and the approximate date when the kitten will be ready to move to a new home (ususally after the spay/nueter surgery and recovery).
Step 3
Finalizing Adoption:
There are several parts to finanalizing the adoption process: deposit fee, contract, balance fee and shipping (if applicable), and pick up date, as well as additional information regarding spay/nueter and vaccination.
Deposit Fee
After choosing a kitten and approving the price, you can place a deposit via Zelle, or in cash (for in person meeting). Please keep in mind deposit is non-refundable. Deposit fee will be applied toward the total price of the kitten/cat you are purchasing.
Contract, Balance & Shipping
Next, you will need to sign the contract, and pay the balance. There are two parts to the contract: confirmation of deposit received and the main agreement for the purchase of the kitten/cat. If you live in Washington State, the second portion of the contract may be signed in person when you pick up your kitten. If you live outside of Washington State, the second portion will need to be signed after full payment, usually 7-10 days before shipping. If the kitten is shipped via Cargo or a pet nanny - full payment is required 7-14 days prior to the departure date.
Vaccination, Spay/Nueter and Final Payment & Pick up date.
Kittens recieve FVRCP vaccinations at 8 and 12 weeks. We schedule the spay/nueter around 13 weeks of age, but the date may shift slightly depending on the veterinarian's availability. After surgery, the kitten will need time to recover. Once the surgery date is confirmed and we see that healing is progressing well, we can coordinate the date of pick up and final payment. Most kittens are ready to go to their new homes at around 3-4 months.
